Switching information

Procedures

A Tenant Admin asks our support to switch to another provider, port to on-premises infrastructure, port while continuing the subscription, or erase the data, stating the destination details needed and whether the agreement should end. The notice period starts when we receive the request and ends on the date you choose or, failing that, as soon as reasonably practicable and within two months. Switching then takes place within a transitional period of up to 30 calendar days; if that is technically unfeasible, we tell you within 14 working days and propose an alternative of up to seven months, which you may extend once. You then have free retrieval-only access for 30 calendar days from the later of the successful switch and the end of the transitional period. For customers who have accepted our Terms of Service, clause 15 of those Terms governs these steps.

Methods

Your export is delivered as an encrypted ZIP archive containing export.json (your data in JSON), your original uploaded files and manifest.json (a list of the files with their checksums and status).

Restrictions

You can request an export at any time during your subscription. One export runs at a time, and up to five export requests can be made per day. Our own source code, model instructions and configuration, internal model parameters and system logs are not exported where disclosing them would risk our trade secrets; your data and the outputs derived from it remain exportable. Where an original file cannot be included, the manifest states why.

Data is provided as UTF-8 encoded JSON in a ZIP archive with AES-256 encryption.

Open specifications

The structure of the export is described openly in the register on this page, which is generated from the same schema used to produce the export.

Jurisdiction

Location: OBLIGO's production infrastructure is in the EU, in Microsoft Azure's Sweden Central region. Contract files, scheduled database backups and daily virtual-machine backups are replicated to Sweden South, and AI processing uses a Microsoft deployment limited to EU locations. Transactional emails are sent through Resend, a provider in the United States. Provider: the infrastructure is provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, a company established in Ireland and part of the Microsoft group, which includes Microsoft Corporation in the United States. Jurisdiction: the infrastructure is subject to EU law and to Swedish law, where it is located. Because the provider's group includes a company established in the United States, and because the production environment is also administered remotely by a contractor in Türkiye, requests under United States or Turkish law cannot be ruled out. Our Terms of Service are governed by Dutch law; that choice does not determine which jurisdiction the infrastructure is subject to.

Measures

Technical measures: connections to the service are encrypted; contract files are encrypted by our application before they are stored; scheduled database backups are encrypted with a key we manage, and daily virtual-machine backups with keys managed by Microsoft; and the contents of export archives are AES-256 encrypted (the names of the files inside are not). Contractual measures: in its data protection terms with us, Microsoft commits not to disclose data it processes for us to law enforcement unless required by law; to try to redirect such a request to us; if compelled to disclose, to notify us promptly and give us a copy of the demand unless legally prohibited; to reject other third-party requests unless legally required to comply; to disclose only under laws that respect fundamental rights and are necessary and proportionate; and not to give any third party direct, indirect, blanket or unfettered access to the data, or the platform encryption keys that secure it. If Cybersol receives a request from an authority outside the EU for your non-personal data, we provide access only where Article 32 of the EU Data Act permits it and disclose only the minimum amount of data permissible in response. We inform you before complying, except where the request serves law-enforcement purposes and only for as long as withholding that information is necessary to preserve the effectiveness of the law-enforcement activity. These measures reduce the risk of governmental access contrary to EU or Member State law, but they do not guarantee that such access can never occur.
